Q1: Who can sign on as SPP member with WPG?
A: It is open to all component distributors or R&D companies in various locations. The membership is totally free. At the present moment, we do not accept individual applications.
Q2: Are components manufacturers able to join as SPP members?
A: As SPP is designed mainly for distributors, manufacturers may contact our respective Sales in various regions. The following are the contacts:

Q3: How do I join as a SPP member?
A: Electronic Components Distributors

Please prepare a copy of your business registration certificate, proceed to register online or download and complete the application form with the related information. After which, please fax the application form together with the copy of business registration certificate to SPP customer service department.

R&D Team / Other Legal Person Entity

To sign on as a unit, provide the copy of unit registration certificate or a copy of working permit, proceed to register online or download and complete the application form with the related information. After which, please fax the application form together with the copy of business registration certificate to SPP customer service department.
(P.S.) As this program is currently targeting the distributors, the application for R&D unit or legal person entity will take longer time to examine. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

“SPP Customer Service Department” will acknowledge the registration of the members, and will send the acknowledgment to customers after verification. From the time you receive our acknowledgement, the score accumulation plan will officially start, and you will be able to enjoy the member appropriation service.
Q4: Can I change/update my SPP membership details?
A: Yes. In the SPP website, you may edit your membership profile in membership webpage. If you have any enquiries, please contact SPP customer service hotline.
Q5: What if I am not able to find a certain part number in the SPP website?
A: Please contact SPP Customer Service Department directly.
Q6: What is the information shown/displayed under the SPP website?
A: Members are able not only to obtain the price directly, but also other information including Manufacturing Brand, Part No., Packing detail, and Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)
Q7: What is the general turn-around time for a RFQ?
A: Members are able to obtain the quotation online immediately. However for special requests, such as volume deals or pricing matters, members can utilize the online RFQ form, which our customer service personnel will reply within 4 hours.
Q8: How do I know that my RFQ has been attended to?
A: There are 3 ways for you to check if your RFQ has been completed:
1. You may key in your RFQ Reference No. in the RFQ enquiry column, if information shown, it indicates that the quotation has been completed.
2. Once the quotation has been completed, our system will automatically send the quotation to your email address.
3. You may also contact our customer service hotline to check the result.
Q9: What is validity period for a RFQ? How do I know if my PO has been confirmed?
A: 1.1. The validity for all quotation is 3 days and the starting date is shown in the quotation.
2.2. If you accept the quotation given, please fax the Purchase Order to SPP customer service personnel before the expiry date. Our system will send you an official acknowledgement upon receipt of your Purchase Order indicating that the order has been accepted.

P/S: All stocks in our inventory are subjected to prior sales or sold on a first come first serve basis. Regardless whether of the state of the transaction, our system will send the notification latest by the second day.

Q10: If this is my first transaction, what are the information that need to be provided?
A: If this is your first transaction, please fax below the following documents together with the Purchase Order to SPP customer service department:
1. Copy of your company business card
2. CompletedCredit limit application form, and shipping declaration form.
This will help us to open an account for your company. Credit limit application form can been download from membership webpage. After completing the form, please fax it to SPP Customer Service Department.
Q11: Is there a Minimum Order Value (MOV)?
A: We adhere to the manufacturer’s guidelines on Standard Packing Quantity (SPQ) and Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ), and with the following additional guidelines for transaction amount:
A. If the transaction amount is above USD1000, we will provide free limited delivery service. The area of delivery is restricted to Hong Kong Island/Kowloon/New Territories. For other location, please enquire with our SPP customer service personnel.
B. If the transaction amount is below USD1000, members can request self collection from our distribution centers. For more details, please enquire with our SPP customer service personnel.
Q12: Can I pay using RMB?
A: We can support RMB transactions, but in accordance to China’s Tax Laws, invoices must include the relevant duty (+17% VAT TAX). During the submission of, please inform our customer service about your need for RMB transaction.
Q13: What are delivery terms for RMB transactions?
A: At the moment, Shenzhen is the main goods collecting point for RMB transactions. For delivery to other locations, members can enquire with our SPP Customer Service Department.
